~Contest Summary: You are going to be the creator. You are the God/Goddess and the worlds of Legend of Zelda are under your control. Disgusted by the previous pandemonium that sat here (yes, on your desk chair/floor/bed/wherever you're sitting) before you and their creations, you give the worlds a clean slate. Everything is reset under your eyes.~

This contest will focus on you creating a world of your own, this Legend of Zelda world may be twisted, bright and cheery, childish, or just up and random (but it must make some sort of sense, okay?). You may pick one or all of the following themes, you can use any type of art whether it be cosplay, literature, traditional, etc. just as long as it follows group rules and one or more of the contest themes. You may submit up to six entries. Before you ask a question about the contest make sure to scroll down and read the Contest Guidelines~

~Reconstruct (Themes)~
Note that you must redirect your work to this Journal in your Author's Comment and still keep a recognizable feature that tells a viewer that it is a fanamde LoZ item/person/story/etc.

!Item(s): be creative, don't just slap an arsenal of redesigned Twilight Princess items... perhaps you can have them displayed on a shelf at a store, or something.
! Attire/Clothing/Weaponry
! Background Story: Create your own Hero and the story that comes with the lands (remember, every Legend of Zelda story likes to somehow reiterate the Hero of Time tale). This entry must either be in manga/comic form or in a literature format... 3 entries maximum if literature, 4 entries maximum if comic/manga.
! Create your Royal Symbol(or Redesign the Triforce): Royal Symbol is the flying Triforce bird of the royal family in Hyrule
! Reconstruct Landscape: This can be a reconstruction of whatever land/part of the maps of the LoZ world you choose (i.e. Ordon, Casteltown, Hyrule's Castle, a dungeon, etc.)
! Revamp a Boss
! Revamp a Game Scene
! Revamp a Species:
! Make your God/Goddess


Contest Guidelines
__Up to six entries max.
__Your entries can be a part of multiple themes.
__For the "Background Story," if it is a manga/comic then we will accept up to 5 entries for that theme... if it is in literature we will accept 3 entries (this theme MUST be in literature or manga/comic form).
__Screenshots are prohibited as are traces, recolors, and use of lineart.
__In your Author's Comment, you must have a link that directs one to this Journal.

__Group Admins. can join.
__ You cannot just take a random item like a computer speaker and revamp it to fit in the "Item" theme, it is not a part of the LoZ world.
__ You cannot use old work

What you Will be Judged on
__Creativity/Effort/Evident Time Spent/Individuality
__Story/Creation can be easily followed (pertains to the "Background Story" mainly)
__ Follows the contest and Group guidelines
__ Is not blurred, hard to read (refrain from text speak... background story may be in any language you wish, as long as you have an English translation), etc.

Prizes
__ Multiple (1-3 maximum) of Literature/Art (mostly traditional) based off of your creation(s) (1st place)
__ Literature/Art (mostly traditional) of anything you wish... does not have to be LoZ related (1st & 2nd place)
__ Art (traditional), must be LoZ related (3rd place)
__ Interview (1st place)
__ Member of the Month (1st place)
__ Llama(s) (1st, 2nd, & 3rd place)
__ Featured on Group Blog, summary of each placed user's art, style, etc. (1st, 2nd, & 3rd)
__ Honorable Mention (4th place)
